inkFrog Has Shut Down — How to Migrate to Salestio

inkFrog closed for good on June 1, 2026, and listings that relied on its hosted templates and images broke. This is your step-by-step guide to moving off inkFrog and onto Salestio — a store-native replacement for eBay, Amazon, and Etsy.

Migration
⚠️

inkFrog is no longer available

inkFrog (owned by Wix) permanently shut down on June 1, 2026. If your eBay listings used inkFrog templates or hosted images, those elements went offline and your listings may look broken. The good news: your eBay listings themselves still exist on eBay, and you can rebuild on a supported platform quickly.

What Happened to inkFrog

inkFrog wound down in stages. Here is the timeline and, more importantly, why so many listings broke.

  • March 3, 2025 inkFrog Classic shut down; users were pushed to migrate to inkFrog Open.
  • April 29, 2026 Wix announced the full shutdown and opened a one-month data-export window.
  • May 31, 2026 Last day to export listing data (CSV) from the inkFrog dashboard.
  • June 1, 2026 inkFrog shut down permanently; hosted images, templates, and scripts went offline.

inkFrog templates were never fully self-contained on eBay. When you applied an inkFrog template, the HTML pushed to eBay referenced inkFrog's own servers for hosted images, design blocks, and cross-sell scripts. When those servers went offline on June 1, 2026, every listing that referenced them broke at the same time.

The inkFrog CSV export also has a catch: it contains image URLs, not the image files themselves. Since those URLs pointed at inkFrog's servers, they no longer resolve. That's why the reliable way to recover is to pull your listings directly from eBay — where the live listing data still exists — rather than relying on the CSV.

Why Salestio Is the Right Replacement

Salestio is a store-native marketplace integration built to outlast tools like inkFrog.

  • Store-native apps for Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Shopware, and PrestaShop — manage everything from your own admin.
  • Amazon, eBay, and Etsy in a single app, instead of an eBay-only dashboard.
  • Listing content and images are hosted on your store, not a third party's servers — so a vendor outage can't break your listings again.
  • Marketplace orders import into your store admin, so you keep your existing fulfillment workflow.
  • Near real-time inventory and price sync to prevent overselling across channels.
  • Transparent order-based pricing and hands-on migration support.

How to Migrate from inkFrog to Salestio

A practical, low-risk path from a broken inkFrog setup to a supported multi-marketplace store.

1

Don't panic — your eBay listings still exist

Only inkFrog's hosted assets went offline. Your active eBay listings still live on eBay, which is exactly where Salestio will read them from.

2

Keep your inkFrog CSV as a reference (optional)

If you exported a CSV before May 31, 2026, keep it for titles, SKUs, and item specifics. Note that its image URLs are dead, so treat it as a reference only, not a source of images.

3

Install Salestio and connect eBay

Add Salestio to your store (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Shopware, or PrestaShop) and connect your eBay account so Salestio can read your live listings and orders.

4

Import your listings with Product Import

Use Salestio Product Import (eBay→store) to pull existing eBay listings into your store, re-hosting images and content on your own storefront or CDN.

5

Replace broken inkFrog template HTML

Swap the old inkFrog template markup for clean, self-contained listing descriptions and push them back to eBay. This fixes the broken look left behind by the shutdown.

6

Turn on inventory and price sync

Enable near real-time stock and price synchronization so eBay stays in step with your store and you avoid overselling.

7

Add Amazon and Etsy (optional)

When you're ready to grow beyond eBay, connect Amazon and/or Etsy from the same Salestio app — no extra tools required.

8

Verify everything

Confirm that quantities match, orders import into your store admin, and images render correctly across every marketplace before you consider the migration done.

Timeline: Most sellers complete the move in 1–2 weeks with zero downtime.

Domande Frequenti

Is inkFrog really gone?

Yes. inkFrog, owned by Wix, permanently shut down on June 1, 2026. inkFrog Classic had already ended on March 3, 2025, and CSV export from the dashboard closed on May 31, 2026.

My inkFrog listings look broken — can Salestio fix them?

Yes. inkFrog templates referenced its servers for images and design, so those elements went offline at shutdown. With Salestio you re-host content on your own store and push clean, self-contained listings back to eBay, replacing the broken inkFrog template HTML.

Do I need my inkFrog CSV export to migrate?

No. Because your eBay listings still exist on eBay, Salestio imports them directly from your eBay account. A CSV export can be a handy reference for titles and SKUs, but its image URLs no longer work, so it isn't required.

How long does migration take?

Most sellers complete the move in 1–2 weeks with zero downtime, depending on catalog size. Salestio's team can help with onboarding and mapping.

Does Salestio replace inkFrog only for eBay, or more?

Salestio replaces inkFrog for eBay and also connects Amazon and Etsy — all from one app inside your store admin, so you can consolidate multiple tools into one.

What does Salestio cost?

Salestio uses order-based pricing: Starter $29, Growth $79, Scale $199, and Ultimate $299 per month, plus a Custom tier for unlimited orders. One plan covers Amazon, eBay, and Etsy.
