Use of Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager, a tag management system that loads the analytics and advertising services described below. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not set cookies of its own and does not collect personal data. It does, however, trigger the services it manages, which may collect data as described in the following sections.

Use of Google Analytics 4

On this website, the Jetlic UG (haftungsbeschränkt) has integrated the component of Google Analytics (with the anonymizer function). Google Analytics is a web analytics service. Web analytics is the collection, gathering, and analysis of data about the behavior of visitors to websites. A web analysis service collects, inter alia, data about the website from which a person has come (the so-called referrer), which sub-pages were visited, or how often and for what duration a sub-page was viewed. Web analytics are mainly used for the optimization of a website and in order to carry out a cost-benefit analysis of Internet advertising.

The operator of the Google Analytics component for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; for all other users it is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.

We use the Google Analytics 4 property type. Universal Analytics, which earlier versions of this policy described, was discontinued by Google and is no longer in use. In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are truncated before any storage or logging takes place and are not stored by Google, so a visit cannot be assigned to an individual visitor by IP address. We use this service to continuously optimize the website for visitors and not to obtain personal information about visitors.

The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyze the traffic on our website. Google uses the collected data and information, inter alia, to evaluate the use of our website and to provide online reports, which show the activities on our websites, and to provide other services concerning the use of our Internet site for us.

Google Analytics places a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. The definition of cookies is explained above. With the setting of the cookie, Google is enabled to analyze the use of our website. With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet site, which is operated by the controller and into which a Google Analytics component was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject will automatically submit data through the Google Analytics component for the purpose of online advertising and the settlement of commissions to Google. During the course of this technical procedure, the enterprise Google gains knowledge of personal information, such as the IP address of the data subject, which serves Google, inter alia, to understand the origin of visitors and clicks, and subsequently create commission settlements.

The cookie is used to store personal information, such as the access time, the location from which the access was made, and the frequency of visits to our website by the data subject. With each visit to our Internet site, such personal data, including the IP address of the Internet access used by the data subject, will be transmitted to Google in the United States of America. These personal data are stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may pass these personal data collected through the technical procedure to third parties.

The data subject may, as stated above, prevent the setting of cookies through our website at any time by means of a corresponding adjustment of the web browser used and thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Such an adjustment to the Internet browser used would also prevent Google Analytics from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, cookies already in use by Google Analytics may be deleted at any time via a web browser or other software programs.

In addition, the data subject has the possibility of objecting to a collection of data that are generated by Google Analytics, which is related to the use of this website, as well as the processing of this data by Google and the chance to preclude any such. For this purpose, the data subject must download a browser add-on under the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and install it. This browser add-on tells Google Analytics through a JavaScript, that any data and information about the visits of Internet pages may not be transmitted to Google Analytics. The installation of the browser add-ons is considered an objection by Google. If the information technology system of the data subject is later deleted, formatted, or newly installed, then the data subject must reinstall the browser add-ons to disable Google Analytics. If the browser add-on was uninstalled by the data subject or any other person who is attributable to their sphere of competence or is disabled, it is possible to execute the reinstallation or reactivation of the browser add-ons.

Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Google may be retrieved under https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/ and under http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html. Google Analytics is further explained under the following Link https://www.google.com/analytics/.

Google Ads (conversion tracking)

Our website uses Google Ads conversion tracking (formerly Google AdWords). If you have reached our website via an advertisement served by Google, Google Ads will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google-served ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked through AdWords advertisers' websites. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to Conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can refuse the required setting of a cookie - for example via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies or sets your browser to block cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com".

Please note that you can not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want to record measurement data. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Use of Google Remarketing

This website uses Google Inc.'s remarketing feature. This feature is designed to present interest-based ads to website visitors within the Google Network. A so-called "cookie" is stored in the browser of the website visitor, which makes it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to the advertising network of Google. On these pages, visitors may be presented with ads related to content that the visitor previously viewed on web pages using Google's remarketing feature.

Google says it does not collect any personal information during this process. However, if you still do not want Google's Remarketing feature, you can always disable it by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the Network Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

This tool allows you to track movements on the websites where Hotjar is used (so-called heat maps). For example, you can see how far users scroll and which buttons users click on how often. Furthermore, the tool also makes it possible to obtain feedback directly from the users of the website. In this way, we obtain valuable information to make our websites even faster and more customer-friendly.

Through Hotjar, we can only track which buttons are clicked, the mouse's path, how far it scrolls, the screen size of the device, device type and browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language to display our website. Areas of the websites where personal information about you or third parties is displayed are automatically hidden by Hotjar and therefore cannot be traced at any time. Hotjar offers each user the possibility to prevent the use of the Hotjar tool by means of a "Do Not Track" header, so that no data about the visit of the respective website is recorded. This is a setting that is supported by all common browsers in current versions. To do this, your browser sends a request to Hotjar to deactivate the tracking of the respective user. If you use our websites with different browsers/computers, you must set up the "Do Not Track Header" for each of these browsers/computers separately.

Detailed instructions with information about your browser can be found at: https://www.hotjar.com/opt-out
