Import Your eBay Products to Shopify with Salestio Product Import

Today we’re excited to introduce Salestio — Product Import, the perfect companion to our Salestio eBay integration. With Product Import, you can transfer your product data from the eBay marketplace directly into your Shopify store. The app helps sellers to migrate listings from their eBay accounts to Shopify stores. Keep reading to learn how to use the app.

Getting started: Installing Product Import

The app is available on the Shopify App Store. Use the link or search for “Salestio — Product Import“.

Install the app and review the permissions. To work correctly, the app needs access to Products and Locations data.

Once the app is installed, you have a few different ways to import products.

Method 1: Importing Products by eBay URL

This is the quickest method if you want to import a few specific items, as the only thing you need is the link to the corresponding eBay product page.

1. Find the desired item on the eBay marketplace and copy the page link:

2. Go back to the Product Import app and open the dashboard. Paste the link in the Import product by URL section.

3. Click Import to Shopify. In a few moments, the new item will appear in the list of Recently imported products. You can click on the new entry to see the Shopify product page. All the data from eBay, including variations, images, prices, and quantities will be important.

Method 2: Connect your eBay account

This is a better option if you have a large collection on eBay. Connecting your seller account with the app allows transferring items in bulk directly from your marketplace store.

1. Click on “Connect eBay Account” on the Dashboard in the Salestio Product Import app.

2. Set a display name for this account in the app and click “Add Account“.
3. After being redirected to eBay, log in and grant the necessary permissions.
4. Go to the Inventory tab in the Product Import app and download your eBay inventory list. Click “Download inventories” to get the list of products.

5. In a few minutes, the app will have the complete list of your eBay products. Select the ones that you want to import and click the “Create Products” button at the bottom. As an option, click “Create Product” on each individual item.

Your products will continue to be imported in the background. You can check the progress at any time on your Dashboard: check the Recently imported products section to see the latest items.
