Salestio — eBay Product Import allows not only importing eBay listings to Shopify but also enables automatic quantity synchronization for the imported products. Automatic quantity synchronization is handy because it saves time from manually adjusting stock between Shopify and eBay and helps to avoid mistakes. In today’s article, we will explore how the sync works and the steps to set it up.
Find the Product Import app on the Salestio App Store.
Quantity syncing features are available on the “Starter” plan and higher. Each plan has a different max product count for items that can be synchronized at the same time. Before configuring the sync, please select the plan that fits the store’s needs.
Quantity sync works with Shopify items created using the Product Import app. Follow the steps below to create eBay listings in Shopify:
Give the app a few minutes to process all of the items, and they will appear in the Shopify store. You can check the recently imported listings on the Product Import Dashboard.

To configure automatic QTY synchronization, go to Product Import > eBay Inventory from the left side of the Shopify navigation.
The eBay Inventory page shows the list of eBay Inventories. You can use eBay titles or SKUs to find the needed listing in a large inventory list.
You can verify that the sync is enabled or disabled by checking the badges on the products: “Sync none” or “Sync QTY”. Sync can be enabled for products with the “Sync none” badge. To enable the feature, select all necessary items in the list and click the “Enable QTY Sync” action. When this is done, the badge will change to the green “Sync QTY” one.
Salestio — eBay Product Import takes the variations into account when importing and syncing the products. For multi-variation listings, each variant is updated when syncing stock from eBay to Shopify.
If you decide to disable QTY sync for some products at any point, you can do so from the same page, eBay Inventory. The “Disable QTY Sync” action is available for the listings that show the “Sync QTY” badge in the Synchronization rules column. You can also re-enable the sync later at any point.
Different plans in the app provide varying counts of items that can be synced. When the store is using the Free plan or runs into a limit, the following error might appear:
Stopped due to exceeded user limit
When this happens, please check the Dashboard to find the current subscription status. Consider switching the plan to manage more items.
