The SKU is a key component for connection between channels

In the realm of e-commerce, SKUs, or Stock Keeping Units, are pivotal for proficient inventory management. They act as distinct identifiers for every item in your stock, resembling a product’s unique DNA. The use of SKUs is crucial for maintaining a systematic and easily trackable inventory system.

SKUs bring about substantial efficiency to inventory management. When an online store houses thousands of products, managing each one can seem overwhelming. However, by designating a unique SKU for every product, it becomes much simpler to recognize, classify, and pinpoint items within your stock. This not only optimizes the monitoring of stock levels and order fulfillment but also bolsters the overall functioning of business operations.

For the Salestio application, SKU is playing a key role in establishing connections between marketplace listings and shop products. Marketplace listings are not always matching data merchants have in Shop, and this gives an extra headache with matching data.

In the Salestio app, the SKU is seen as a critical underpinning for the flawless integration of an online store with online marketplaces. For every order secured from the Amazon marketplace (or Ebay), Salestio meticulously scrutinizes the SKU data to find a matching product within the Shopware or BigCommerce store. This complex procedure illuminates why maintaining uniform SKUs across all platforms is essential for guaranteeing precise data synchronization across all sales avenues. As such, we stress the immense significance of SKU uniformity for enabling effective cross-channel integration and precise data management.

Salestio’s adept management of SKUs amplifies these advantages. For example, if you’re marketing products on both Amazon and your BigCommerce(or Shopware) store, Salestio ensures the SKU for each product is identical across both platforms. This guarantees that when orders are imported from Amazon, the correct products are pinpointed in your online store, resulting in accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

You can easily do this by accessing your BigCommerce or Shopware orders page and selecting the specific order you want to update. Importing Ebay Orders (Beta)

Salestio integration for Shopware and BigCommerce currently has full support for the Amazon integration platform. Additionally to this, we added beta support for importing also of Ebay orders from your eBay marketplace account to your online store.

Very similar to Amazon, after connecting your eBay account, any new eBay orders are automatically imported into your Shopware or BigCommerce store.
