  • Create PrestaShop Order before eBay Payment — option allows creating PrestaShop order before the order on ebay is not finalized yet. This is useful when you are selling products with limited stock and to avoid overselling orders should be created instantly. We strongly do not recommend using this option, because it’s not guaranteed that data in PrestaShop order will be fully correct
  • Product Stock Reservation — allows reserving stock in PrestaShop products for ebay orders that are not yet finalized. This option allows for preventing oversells for products with limited QTY. With activation, this option stock in PrestaShop is reserved immediately after an order on ebay becomes available with the status “Incomplete”. If an ebay buyer decided to cancel an order – stock is automatically released based on settings

Matching Order Products to PrestaShop Products with Amazon & Ebay Listings

For Salestio to create an order in PrestaShop, it needs to ensure that the required product is available in the e-commerce system. However, since data on different sources can be disparate, Salestio requires a way to match products in PrestaShop with their corresponding Amazon or eBay listings. The matching process can be accomplished in two different ways, depending on the specific options that are activated.

Matching for Managed Listings: Salestio can also automatically match information for importing orders from Amazon and eBay to PrestaShop orders for all listings that are currently managed by Salestio (listed to eBay or Amazon via Selling List). This means that when a customer places an order on any of these marketplaces, Salestio automatically searches for a matching product in the PrestaShop store, and creates a corresponding order.

Automatic Matching by SKU: One of the ways Salestio finds matching information for importing orders from Amazon and eBay to PrestaShop orders is by matching the SKU of the Amazon item or eBay item to the PrestaShop product reference. This means that when a customer places an order on Amazon or eBay, Salestio automatically searches for a product in the PrestaShop store with the same SKU, and creates a corresponding order.

Salestio’s automatic matching process not only saves time but also ensures accuracy and reduces the risk of errors. By automating the process of importing orders from Amazon and eBay to PrestaShop, Salestio eliminates the need for manual data entry, which can be time-consuming and error-prone.

Furthermore, Salestio’s matching process is highly customizable, allowing users to choose the specific options that work best for their business needs. Users can easily activate or deactivate matching options depending on their preferences or the requirements of their business.

Fulfillment status synchronization

Fulfillment status synchronization is a crucial feature in any e-commerce platform. With Salestio, you can easily synchronize fulfillment status between your PrestaShop store and your Amazon or eBay marketplace orders. This helps ensure that your customers receive timely updates on their orders and can track their shipments accurately.

When an order is marked as shipped on your PrestaShop order page, Salestio automatically catches this data and transfers the fulfillment details to the corresponding Amazon or eBay order. This includes the fulfillment status and the expected delivery date. Salestio also allows you to transfer tracking codes to your customers, so they can easily track their shipments.

For added customization, Salestio provides a feature called Shipping Mapping for eBay integration. This allows you to map specific carriers in your PrestaShop store to specific carriers on eBay. This way, your customers can see the exact carrier and shipping method used to deliver their order. This feature is especially useful if you work with multiple carriers and need to maintain consistency across your sales channels.

If you are using Amazon integration, you can customize the shipping carrier from the Settings page. Salestio supports a variety of popular carriers, including USPS, FedEx, and UPS. You can select the carrier that you prefer and set it as the default for all your orders. Salestio will automatically transfer the shipping carrier information to your Amazon orders, so your customers can track their shipments easily.

Salestio also provides real-time updates on the fulfillment status of your orders. This means that if an order is updated in your Amazon or eBay account, Salestio will automatically catch the update and reflect it in your PrestaShop store. This helps ensure that all your sales channels are up-to-date with the latest order information and that your customers are always informed about the status of their orders.

Salestio’s fulfillment status synchronization feature is an essential tool for any e-commerce business that sells on Amazon or eBay. It helps ensure that your customers receive timely updates on their orders and can track their shipments accurately. With Salestio, you can easily customize your shipping carriers and maintain consistency across your sales channels. So you can stay on top of your e-commerce game and drive more sales for your business.

As online marketplace details contain customers’ personal identification details, merchants are not allowed to save this data longer than it’s necessary for processing or legal reason.

For help with fulfill GDPR required Salestio contains two options for older orders. Frist option allows making old orders anonymous where the personal details of customers (including also address) are replaced with Anonymus details. The second option allows the fully removing of all order data from Salestio. Please notice in all cases data will remain unchanged in the PrestaShop Order section.

With importing new orders to PrestaShop, Salestio assigned the ebay address as the contact address for orders. An email address is required by the PrestaShop system, it’s not possible to avoid setting it to order. Depending on the setup in the PrestaShop store, some of the third-party systems (fulfillment centers, automatic email campaigns) could generate not necessary notifications to order emails. At the same time, Ebay is not always allowed to send additional emails to order email addresses.

One of the possible options to avoid sending emails to ebay addresses, it to use fake email addresses for ebay customers.
