Happy Holidays from the Salestio Team!

Today, we reflect on a fantastic year of growth and want to extend our thanks to you, our app users. Your trust and support have been the driving force behind our progress.

We wish you a joyful holiday season filled with peace, happiness, and well-deserved rest. We’re excited about what’s to come in 2025 and can’t wait to continue supporting your e-commerce journey in the year ahead.

In this article, we want to summarize the achievements from the last year of the team’s development to get you all caught up. We had new projects, new features, and many improvements.

New app: Salestio Product Import

This year, Salestio Product Import was released on the Shopify App Store.

Product Import by Salestio makes it easy for Shopify merchants to create products on their store directly from active eBay listings. The app imports product details such as titles, descriptions, images, and variations, making the move from eBay to Shopify quick and smooth.

Etsy integration for more platforms

Salestio for Shopify featured Etsy integration for a while. This year, it is also available for other platforms: BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Shopware.

GPSR support for eBay listings

Salestio added new tools to help sellers comply with GPSR requirements. These settings are available for eBay integrations on all supported Salestio platforms: Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Shopware, and PrestaShop.

eBay Auctions

Auctions became fully supported by Salestio. To send your listings as auctions, update the eBay profile. Change the Listing Type to Auction and change the auction properties below. After your new eBay profile is done, add items to a Selling List and send them to eBay as usual.

SKU mapping selector

SKU mapping allows you to connect products with different SKUs on Shopify and the connected marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy). This is particularly useful for ensuring accurate order imports across all platforms. We made this system accessible through the Settings tab in Salestio (SKU Mapping section). Detailed tax options

Salestio now gives users more control over how taxes appear on imported orders. Find the tax options in Salestio > Settings tab (can be configured both in the General tab and account-specific settings).

Processing of refunded and canceled orders

For Amazon and eBay orders, Salestio now supports refunds and cancels. If a marketplace order is canceled for some reason, Salestio will update the status in Shopify. It also works the other way, so you can mark Shopify orders as Canceled, and Salestio will update them on Amazon or eBay.

For Amazon, this behavior can be customized in Salestio > Settings > Amazon account.

More options for email notifications

We expanded the possibilities for email notifications, so sellers have more tools to stay updated about their stores.

  • You can be notified by email when a connection to one of your Amazon/eBay/Etsy accounts expires and needs attention. Go to Salestio general settings to enable.
  • In Salestio > Settings, sellers can set up the email address where the notifications about the selected events are sent. Previously, it was possible to add just one email address to this field. From now on, multiple emails can be added.
  • More descriptive order importing fail notification email. Error notifications now contain a link to the order in Salestio, so you can get straight to the app for troubleshooting. Notifications now also contain the marketplace order ID to make it easier to search for them on the respective marketplace.

Improved inventory reports

We made it easier to keep track of already published items. The Inventory tab in Salestio got new features:

  • A new tool to check if all of the marketplace inventory is properly connected to Shopify. Click “Download report” to select the marketplace account to get a compiled list of the current Amazon/eBay/Etsy inventory in a CSV format. The list indicates whether a product is currently linked through Salestio.
  • An option to refresh the inventory list. Tick the box during downloading inventories to remove old listings from this tab.

Optimizations for Collection handling

Interacting with Shopify Collections adds complexity to the app, and we are doing our best to make this experience smoother and more reliable.

  • Product Mode users can now populate Selling Lists in bulk from premade Shopify Collections. This combines the convenience of Collection Mode with the control of Product Mode:

  • Faster and more reliable stopping of eBay listings from Collection Mode lists.
  • Optimized handling of background events related to Collections. This improves the automatic adding and removing of items from Selling Lists based on Collections.

More flexibility in listing creation data

  • eBay Creation Profiles are now optional for publishing new listings. Listing creation data can be added directly from the Selling List for each individual item. Creation Profiles are not mandatory when this data is added here.
  • The options in the Listing creation data section have been expanded. It is now possible to add a custom title and select a specific set of eBay Business Policies for each product.

2024 has been a great year in terms of features and updates, and we are working hard to bring even more improvements to help our users grow their stores in the year ahead.

Thank you for trusting us to support your e-commerce needs throughout the year. From all of us at the Salestio team, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and a successful new year!
