Salestio takes care of syncing Shopify stores with orders from connected marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Etsy. In this article, we will go into the specifics of managing cancels and refunds through Salestio.

With the default settings, Salestio does not send Refunded and Canceled statuses to Seller Central. If you want to cancel and refund directly from Shopify, enable these options in Salestio > Settings > Amazon account. Keep in mind that each connected Seller Central account has its own settings page.
For the other integrations like eBay and Etsy, these updates do not need additional setup.
The app can update your marketplace orders to Refunded or Canceled similar to how fulfillment is done.
When a marketplace order is placed, Salestio will import it into the app. You can check the downloaded orders in the Salestio > Orders tab. If you already refunded some orders and want to find them in the list, you can use the filter:
You can also check the status of your Amazon orders here or click “View on Shopify” to jump to the Shopify order. Click on the entry in the list to see detailed information and logs from Salestio.
Salestio will look for matching SKUs in the Shopify store and try to create a corresponding Shopify order. When such an order is created, you can fulfill it or cancel it in Shopify. When you add a tracking code in Shopify, Salestio will send it to the marketplace. When you cancel it in Shopify, Salestio will update the marketplace order to this status.

Order status is also pulled from marketplaces like Amazon, Etsy, and eBay if you decide to manage your orders there. For example, if you receive an order and cancel it directly on Seller Central, Salestio will update it to Canceled in Shopify. After any order changes status directly on the marketplace, Salestio will update this information in Shopify.
Salestio simplifies the process of managing orders from different marketplaces by gathering them all in one store. You can try the app for free and see how it works for your store. Get the app on Shopify to receive a Free 30-Day Trial.
