Salestio offers multiple tools to help you stay updated about the state of product sync in your store. All three integrations, including Amazon, eBay, and Etsy, can notify you when the account needs attention. In this article, we will explain what kind of notifications you can receive and how to configure them.

Dashboard banners

The Salestio Dashboard is a quick way to know if the sync is running smoothly. Dashboard banners appear to let you know if something went wrong. This kind of notification can appear in two cases: when an account is inactive or when you approach the limit of your Salestio plan.

Salestio needs an active connection to the marketplace accounts to sync the products. If some of the accounts become inactive, you will get a banner on the dashboard:

Account 'My Amazon Account' has expired. Re-connect your amazon account to ensure product and order synchronization.
You can find a banner on the dashboard if an account connection has expired

The “Confirm connection” button leads to the account page in Salestio. Click the save account button at the bottom of the Edit account page and log in on the marketplace to restore the connection.

Accounts can get disconnected because of safety policies on online marketplaces, as the connection is established for a limited time. Accounts can also get disconnected when a marketplace platform rolls out certain updates.

Another message may come up depending on your Salestio plan limit. A “You have almost reached the subscription limit” banner will appear when the store is close to the maximum GMV amount on imported orders:

You have almost reached the subscription limit. As soon as the limit is reached, order importing and product synchronization will be interrupted. Please consider changing your Subscription plan from Salestio > Dashboard or by following this link

This limit is different for each plan, so keep an eye on the counter, which is located on the dashboard.

A similar message will appear when the monthly limit is exceeded:

Order export was stopped due to exceeded subscription limits

This can be resolved by switching to a different plan. The limit also resets at the start of a new billing period, so the app will resume operations then.

Email notifications

You can add your email address and pick the categories of important messages that you can receive right to your inbox and you can take relevant actions right away. Go to Salestio > Settings tab to check the available options:

All notification settings are available on the main page of Salestio settings

Tick the boxes for all events that you want to know about and specify your email address in the field below. Remember to click “Save” to apply the settings.

Here are all the options explained:

Failed order import — for errors that appear when Salestio cannot create an imported order in Shopify. The email will contain the Order ID in question and the error message. You can also look for this ID in Salestio > Orders tab and check the log messages. Salestio will retry creating the order after you resolve the errors.

Failed fulfillment status on Amazon or eBay — when Salestio was unable to send fulfillment data back to the marketplace. This email will also contain the Order ID, so you can check it out and resolve the issue.

Failed product updates (update Error) for synced products — notifies when an Update Error status appears in a Selling List. You can find the error message and the item SKU in an email like this. After you resolve the error, find this item in the Selling List and run the update action manually to restore the connection.

Account (Amazon, eBay, Etsy) got expired — you will receive an email when any marketplace account becomes inactive in Salestio. When you receive this message, go to Salestio > Accounts > inactive account and click the save button at the bottom to log in and allow access again.

Use default shop email for notifications — remove the field for entering an email address. Instead, the shop owner’s business email will be used.

Effective notifications help stay up-to-date on the status of your marketplace integrations with Amazon, eBay, and Etsy. You can enable email notifications to have peace of mind. This way, the app can operate unattended, while you stay in control of your marketplace listings and order updates.
