Part 2: creating a Shopify store and reviewing the settings that matter

The longest of the early parts, because store setup prevents later problems. The video creates the Shopify account, applies a base design, and goes through the settings that affect selling: shipping, taxes, payments and the product structure that will carry variations later.

That last point matters more than it appears. How you structure products and variants now determines how cleanly they map onto Amazon, eBay and Etsy listings in parts 7 to 13.

Steps shown in the video

1. Register a new Shopify account and choose the store name.
2. Apply a base theme and adjust the essential design elements.
3. Configure shipping, tax and payment settings.
4. Review how products and variants will be structured.
5. Check the store is ready to receive Printify products.
