eBay description templates: design once, apply to every listing

eBay gives you a large description block and no help maintaining it. Sellers either paste the same HTML into every listing and watch it drift, or leave the description bare and lose the chance to answer buyer questions before they are asked.

Description templates solve both. You design the layout once, drop in placeholders that resolve to each product's own data including Shopify metafields for specifications, and apply the template across your listings. Changing the layout later takes one edit instead of hundreds.

Steps shown in the video

1. Open the description template editor in Salestio.
2. Build the layout with your standard sections for specifications, shipping and returns.
3. Insert placeholders for product fields and metafields.
4. Preview the template against a real product to check the values resolve.
5. Assign the template in the listing profile so new and updated listings use it.
