Today, we are happy to announce the new expansion for Salestio — Product Import. The app has received an update to support Etsy integration, so in this article, we will go through the main features and explore what’s new.
Click here for a guide focusing on the eBay integration.

To access the Etsy features, click “Etsy” at the top of the app page:

Connect an Etsy account

Adding a marketplace account is an optional step. We recommend doing this because a connected account allows taking advantage of more features of Product Import, such as bulk importing and quantity sync.

To get started, click “Connect Etsy Account” on the Etsy Dashboard:

New accounts can be added from the Dashboard

Enter your account name and click Add Account at the top. After this, log in to Etsy and allow app permissions.

Import from inventory

With a connected Etsy account, you have the option to import items from the marketplace inventory in bulk. To get started, go to the Etsy Inventory tab and click “Download Inventories.”

Go to the Inventory page to manage the marketplace items

In a few minutes, the app will have the complete list of your Etsy products. Select the ones that you want to import and click the “Create Products” button at the bottom. As an option, click “Create Product” on each individual item.

Click “Create Product” to add an item to Shopify

Your products will continue to be imported in the background. You can check the progress at any time on your Dashboard: check the Recently imported products section to see the latest items. After the process is completed, the items will appear in the Shopify inventory. You can click on the recent items to check the respective Shopify product page.

Import by URL

This is the quickest method if you want to import a few specific items, as the only thing you need is the link to the corresponding Etsy product page.

First off, find the target item on Etsy and copy its URL:

Copy the URL of the product page

Paste the URL on the app Dashboard, click “Import to Shopify”, and wait for the item to appear in the store:

Paste the URL and click “Import to Shopify”

Quantity synchronization

For sellers with a connected Etsy account, the app can receive quantity updates and sync the Shopify store with the latest changes. Salestio — Product Import will update the Shopify items whenever a sale is made on the connected marketplace account.

To enable quantity synchronization for specific products, find them in the Inventory tab and enable the checkboxes. Click “Enable QTY Sync” below to start getting updates from Etsy into Shopify.

More sync features in the main Salestio app

With Salestio, you can configure inventory sync from Shopify to Etsy, sync orders, and create new marketplace listings. Check out Salestio on the Shopify App Store.

With the Salestio app, you can link your new Shopify products with existing Etsy listings. Check out the article below for a detailed guide:

Billing options

After installing the Product Import app, sellers get 5 credits for free. Each credit can be used to import an item to Shopify. To import more items, buy credits directly or consider getting a monthly plan. Learn more about the available plans and packs.

Monthly plans unlock the ability to use quantity synchronization, as well as offer a pack of Import Credits every month. To change the plan, check the Subscription Status section on the Dashboard:
