Online marketplaces keep receiving new updates, features, and regional regulations. Let’s review the biggest changes that impact the marketplace sellers.
On-Time Delivery requirements for Germany, France, Italy and Spain become a hard policy on September 1, 2026. Earlier, Amazon expected sellers to maintain a 90% delivery rate. In September, sellers with a lower rating may face restrictions, such as listing suspension or inability to publish new items.
See our guide for multi-channel order management in Salestio to streamline multiple marketplaces and avoid missing fulfillments.
When selling to business customers, watch out for the business hour delivery rate. This metric measures the percentage of FBM shipments delivered to Amazon Business customers within their hours of operation. Sellers should maintain this rating above 90% to keep the offers visible to business customers starting from October 30, 2026.
Handling time may automatically change for select products in your Amazon store. Amazon will monitor the performance of your listings starting from September 1 and automatically reduce the indicated handling time according to the product metrics. This change applies only to the products that perform consistently better over 30 days.
Amazon shared the list of approved carriers for shipments coming into the EU. From July 1, 2026, any shipments outside of the EU to an EU customer must use one of the approved carriers. Amazon is working to improve compatibility with more carriers. Check the official Amazon page for timely updates on the list of approved carriers for Out-of-Region shipments.
To make sure that your shipping details adhere to Amazon standards, consider adjusting your Shipping Mapping in Salestio:

eBay is now enforcing detailed descriptions for collectible coins. Whether your items are Graded or Ungraded, the relevant condition information should be specified. Graded items require and letter and numeric grade along with the grading company. For Ungraded items, sellers should follow the Coin condition guidelines.
Salestio users can update their Creation Profile to add the required details. See the recent guide for help with setting up coin condition information in Salestio.

Coin listings valued over $500 can now apply for the eBay Authenticity Guarantee program and offer buyers extra assurance.
eBay Live program is moving past the invite-only model and is available to eligible sellers now in over 300 categories. Earlier, the beta expanded beyond US to UK, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, and Canada.
eBay is working to make the life of auction sellers easier. Buyers who don’t pay will receive warnings and will face bidding or offer restrictions if they continue. Additionally, eBay may ask additional details from the customers before placing a bid (such as payment method and address.) This change is enforced automatically without any requirements on the seller side.

Kaufland is expanding to new regions in Europe: Spain and the Netherlands. This increases the network to 9 marketplaces in total.
Due to recent changes in the EU VAT laws, Kaufland temporarily deactivated offers under €150 shipped from outside the EU since June 15. This only applies to items that were not assigned to an EU warehouse.
Previously, the EU introduced a new flat €3 VAT charge to low-value imports.
Sellers with large inventories should keep the new 1.5 GB maximum file size in mind. The limit applies to product data, inventory feeds, order and inventory commands.
The Salestio team is working towards an official release of the Kaufland integration. Currently the integration is available in beta with support for order importing. Sign up to get notified about official release.
TikTok is testing a service that would manage a big part of the seller’s duties. The service will take care of marketing, optimizing product listings, hiring creators, and running ads. TikTok is looking for participants in the US for testing the new service.
The platform is set to release a Shop Plus membership program for its shoppers. This is a membership similar to Amazon Prime, with discounts, exclusive deals, and coupons. Membership programs are known for offering better shipping options, so TikTok sellers should be on the lookout for Shop Plus news. Raising the bar of your current service and delivery standards will help to prepare for the upcoming competition.

Allegro is launching in Ukraine. The platform has announced a phased launch, with deliveries already available. Polish sellers can take the opportunity of expanding to a new market without having to establish their own logistics.
Sellers can get an effectively 0% commission for exports on the platform in the form of a transaction rebate. If you have a business account on allegro.pl, the program covers any new offers in Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian marketplaces.
The platform is removing the option to agree on the delivery method. If the product listing cannot offer a good option, the shopper will only receive a message. Offering plenty of competitive delivery options becomes more important with this change.
